I'm checking it now. At first, it seemed kind of desperate. But I'm coming to realize that there's no way to get feedback if you don't also give it. Thanks for the advice.

Joining contests help with getting feedback! You are guaranteed to receive feedback on your entry! And for a bonus, if you get placed, some prizes include story comments or blog interviews! Definitely try the LaC, TaC thread!

I definitely know where you're coming from. I'd suggest trying to do a comment swap. Usually that's a good way to put your stories out there, and it gives you a chance to give others feedback! Another thing you could do is try the Leave a Comment, Take a Comment feature. You only need to comment on two stories and then you can put forth one of your own to be put up on the main page.

I totally get where your coming from. But don't write for others. Write for yourself. Try to enter more contests and story whore your stories in blogs. You'll get there. I'll check them out too.
