Coming out to my family was a nightmare.
    I wasn't ready when I told them.
    I regret it....
They're nowhere near as accepting as I prayed they could be....
It takes a lot of guts, so be proud of your brother.
    Give your dad some time...
My dad probably would of reacted the same way but he passed away before I even knew what my sexuality was.
Offer tons of support and everything should work out. Best of luck hun!

before he left my brother told me that he was scared to tell anyone but he realised whether the reactions were good or bad he had to say something, he couldnt lie anymore, he said although my brothers and my dad could potenially take it bad once its sunk in he doesnt care, he'll be happier knowing he can be himself. he's proud to be him and doesnt care what anyone else thinks.

i hope thats of some help to both of you

:) thank you so much for you're advice
im so proud of him for it because he's not the bravest or most confident of people and i didnt think he'd do it but he did, i told him i was proud of him and that i was still always there if he needed me but sometimes i feel like he trys to not rely on me to be there because im younger then him. but saying that i'll be there and actually being there wont fix potential hurt that my dad COULD cause, i hope he wont, because it is very out of his character, but people can surprise you lol

    awww,
I can't just say I know how you feel, because well, I don't.
I've never had to go threw that.
I do have bi friends thought and they've told me what its like.
Your brother is really brave for coming out though, I thinks it horrable that some people feel so ashamed of their sexuality that they have to hide it.
I guess the most you can do it just be there for him to talk to you and just be really suportive.
