As I'm sitting here now waiting for my cake to bake (ha ha that rhymes)

As I'm sitting here now waiting for my cake to bake i couldn't help but wonder if anyone on here knows any cool cake recipes :) I'm currently making chocolate sponge cake and later on i want to try something else.

Do any of you lot know any cool cake recipes or cookie recipes?? :)

And also just to make you jealous because if have to type more words... My friend can make Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream :D and she has just made ma a batch today :P
