Tongue Piercing

So yesterday I finaly got my tongue pierced :]

It was in the summer when I decided I wanted it done, but I never got round to it...then when I went back to uni I thought I'd get it done there. But sadly my uni is situated in a shitty little place (its alright sometimes) but I was still hopefull in finding somewhere that would pierce it. Then I was looking online for nearby tongue piercers and found one in York. So yesterday I hopped on a train to York to do some 'xmas shopping' (I was actualy looking for a jacket and shoes for me lol).

If anyone knows York, then they'll know going on a weekend (especialy when some xmas fair is on) is not the best time to visit. It was jam packed around where the Disney store is! So I finished my shoping and went to look for the York Body Piercing Clinic which is in Micklegate if anyone fancies going there...its not to far from the train station.

Apart from my ears, the tongue is the only other part of me I have pierced and I'l ltell you now, getting my ears done hurt a hell of a lot more than my tongue!! I've had no pain from it at all yet. She used loads of foul tasting numbing liquid but it did the job and I didnt feel the needle going through at all =]

So now I've just got to learn to talk and eat with it in. I've been advised to eat lots of ice cream as it reduces swelling :] and this morning I managed a slice of bread. But I have aparently developed a bit of a lisp today lol....dunno how my parents are going to react. I dont think my dad will be to bothered but I reckon my mam will freak out. But I like it and am very very happy and if anyone wants it done I recomend going there, its a really clean place too :D
