Writer's Block (Bleck!)

Ugh I've had writer's block for about a month now and I don't know how to get over it...I know I have to write something or I'm just gunna s'plode! I've tried to write poems & stories but they look like someone took a bunch of random words and just tossed them on the paper...Ugh I really hate it! Plus I have to write a short story for English but nothing comes...So please I need advice to get over this quick! Or else I'm in trouble

Also I've been confused about the one-shots rule...Do we have to have them as chaperts of a story all together? Oh I don't know what I'm talking about but could someone give an more dept explaination on that rule???
