Green Day and Blink-182

As I sit here listing to "Jesus of Suburbia" by Green Day I am getting way more excited for their new album. I will emit, I was one of the teens that heard American Idiot and said they were a fan. But, after I heard it I went and bought another one of there Cd's and I started to love it. They are one of the most talented bands I've ever heard. They are just like... magic! They do stuff to people that other bands can't. I'm not even going into the whole "Green Day is emo" thing. I don't care. They could look like "gangsters" but produce the same music and I would still listen to them.

I'm also excited for the Blink-182 reunion. On Saturday, when I went to go get a dress for the Valentine's Day dance this Friday, I told my mom I want to go to a Blink concert so it'll be my first. I never really got into Blink much, but they have really catching songs and I love it. I also love the bands that they formed after the breakup, like Box Car Racer and +44.

Thank you Blink and Green Day for bringing back good music to the radio so I don't have to hear "I Kissed a Girl" on repeat.
