Well, let me just say that my Dad told me all the winners because I was busy (not) sleeping.
First of all, I'm so happy for the wins of WALL-E and Heath Ledger. Both were basically obvious, but still, I'm super pumped.
Slumdog Millionaire seemed to have won the most, which surprised me because it was sort of a flop when it came out. Straight to DVD. I might like to see it now.
I'm happy Sean Penn won for Milk, not because I like Sean Penn, but because I sometimes want to punch Brad Pitt. His wife didn't win anything either, which was awesome.
I honestly didn't see any of the movies that they had up for Oscars other than WALL-E and The Dark Knight, but I would like to.
It was a rather boring year for cinema anyway, though. Hopefully this year will be brighter, with WATCHMEN and Harry Potter coming out.
