I'm new to Mibba. Need Some Advice. And... what's with girls and guys round here?

I've worked out how to post it, but what kind of stuff goes down well around here? Do people read any original fiction? It seems there is a lot of fanfiction, mostly slash and while I do write slash fiction and very very occasionally fanfiction, I was hoping I could get into some other genres/themes of writing here, but will anything get read?

Anyway, as said, I am new, and everyone who left a comment to say hi, thanx, it was nice to be welcomed so much - though apparently that's because I'm male someone told me. I really don't get that, but I mean, I can't argue with what is... I just won't understand. Never mind I suppose.

Anyway, I do like talking to people, so come and say hi, introduce yourself. I'd like to meet you, okay? :)
