What's the use?

Okay, so I joined this little mibba world to see what people would say about the things I write. AND to meet some people, you know because that's what cool people do...
So I posted two stories and one poem. I've looked at what I had, and I had 8 readers on my poem 0 COMMENTS, mind you. And 2 readers on one of my stories. Once again, 0 COMMENTS.
If you read something I wrote, don't you think you can take like, 40 seconds out of your life to comment on it and tell me what you thought about it? otherwise, what is the use of the comment button?
I don't know, it just honest to God bothers me.
