Shoelaces

Im sitting here after my english exam, waiting for lunch and talking to a few friends and my maths teacher. i asked for a random topic and my maths teacher said, "shoelaces!!!"

so im going to try to talk randomly about shoelaces. actually these are all questions i kinda really wanna know....te he x]

who even came up with shoelaces?
does anyone really know?
and why did we need shoelaces anyways?
didn't we have those little pilgrim shoes with the buckles???
and how are you supposed to get the holes in the shoes for the shoelaces??
how do you make shoelaces???
come to think of it..how do you make shoes??
