Watch Me Plant A Garden

I have indulged in a new therapy-Gardening. =) I saw a forlorn patch of dirt in my back yard in decent sun and shade and decided that even thought its a little late in the season, I would dawn my gloves and start a garden.

I live in the Chicago area and have been skeptical on what to plant. I know the basics would be wonderful, like tomatoes and cucumbers, but I would love to branch out farther, like potatoes and peppers.

I wish I could muster some rasberrys, but my mother would kill me ;)

I am seeking advice from my fellow mibbians on what to do in the area of gardening, if you suggest certain plants or have any nifty tricks to keep those damn rabbits out of the garden.

All help is appreciated and I would love to think growing my own organic garden can give me something to do in my spare time.

I do hope this works and it doesn't end in a disaster of crushed tomatoes and pickled cucumbers. Advice would be loved =D
