Where the magic happens.

For those who were ever curious, this is my workspace:

I try to keep it crazy, colorful, irrelevant. It helps make my stories as different as possible. I love my desk area. I have everything from "Gus and his Technicolor Dream Sweater" (a pastel drawing of a tree with a sweater my friend Gus made), to old sheet music and a six page booklet of funny things my friends and I compiled (with a three page add on with funny Horror's quotes to look back on and use). It makes my day to see it.

In that lovely corner I've been able to turn out such gems as Of Life and Lemons. I'm fully confident the wall helped in that one. Kept things dark, kept them weird, kept them personal.
SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION: I would love for y'all to read that bad boy if you have some free time. I've entered it into a contest, and I'm really proud of it. It was originally written for an english final, but I liked it too much to let it go. If you want, I'll even read and comment a work of yours. I'm all about fair trade!
