Whats In A Name by Temperance Brennan-- Mac's (My) Choice

Whats In A Name by Temperance Brennan has to be one of the best stories I've read in a while. It's an emotional roller coaster; but that's part of what makes it so good.
In the beginning, you're sad and confused. Then, you become happy; she just got engaged. But a phone call to her best friend with the news brings her down. Something about the way he reacts just doesn't seem right...
After killing some time, she decides to go see him, but, well, apparently he wasn't as excited for her as she expected.

A_Girl_Called_Kill14- Oh my gosh... I seriously almost cried. It's SOO good. I'm practically speechless. All I really have to say, is well done.

MyChemicalKiss- I thought it was a great story. Very nicely worded and detailed. I love how you ended it though. Good endings are a little fetish of mine, so, yeah, that scores you some points. Over all, the story was just marvelous.
