I'm ridiculous sometimes.

So for school we have to pick a book that we've never read before for our free-reading book. I really wanted to read "Interview With the Vampire" by Anne Rice because I've been hearing so much about it on here, deviantART, and everywhere else online. xD

So I get my dad to take me to the library, kind of hoping he'd stay in the car.

He didn't.

Initially, I couldn't find it, so I went and checked out "A Great and Terrible Beauty" (which I hadn't really wanted to read but pretended I did so my dad didn't get mad that he had to take me...). Checking out, the librarian asked if we had trouble finding anything, and my dad mentioned it. So, reluctantly, I told her the title, we found it, and I was considering getting it until I read the back.

It said something like "darkly erotic", or whatever, so I was like, damn. If my dad saw this (the parentals are VERY strict.. -.-) he'd aneurysm. So I put it back, sadly, and walked out of the library, not with "Interview.." but with some novel I didn't really want and now have to read for school. Blaghh.

I anger myself. I really wish I'd just gotten the damn book. -.-
