Story Recommendations

I'm gonna be straight up with you guys: I write a lot more stories than I read on this site, so I'm probably not the best resource when it comes to story recommendations. Nevertheless, people ask me for recommendations all the time, and (as you know) I pimp stories that I like all the time, so I figured I might as well compile a list of all of them. As I said before, I'm probably not the best judge, but these are the stories I read and love.

Stories with an asterick (*) beside them are incomplete. Prequels and sequels are listed on the same line together, with a slash in between. I took the time to look up links to all of them, so you can just click away to your little heart's desire. :]

1.) On Mibba, in alphabetical order by title:

- The Boy Who Never Grew Up (Pete Wentz) - blastxthemusicxfob
- Death! And All Its Friends* (original) - MassRomantic
- For the Mildly Inspiring / When the Lights Are Dim (Ryan Ross) - Zombie.Fog!
- It's a Neverending Story of Infinite Last Chances / This Weather Reflects My Face (David Blaise) - Zombie.Fog!
- Jealous Orchard (Brendon Urie) - Zombie.Fog!
- Like a Boy Tangled in Vine* (Brendon Urie) - manygreatsurprises
- Fake It Like You Matter / Headaches and Bad Luck (Pete Wentz) - cigarettesandlies
- On the Corner of This Street* (Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, etc) - manygreatsurprises
- Something to Talk About (Ryan Ross) - cigarettesandlies
- Streetlights of This City* (Pete Wentz) - YourFavoriteMistake
- The Young and Lost Club* (Brendon Urie) - MassRomantic

2.) I also have to recommend this one-shot that is very near and dear to my heart. It's on Quizilla and it's slash, and normally I NEVER like slash, but this one is probably my favorite fanfic evereverevereverever. It's what made me want to start writing my own fanfics way back in the day. It influenced my writing a lot, and I love it to death. READ IT! Your life is incomplete until you do.

- heartache. (Pete Wentz/Patrick Stump) - panda.queen

A lot of these authors (*cough*KRISTA*cough*) have tons of brilliant stories--I just listed my personal favorites on here for the sake of convenience. But you really can't go wrong with any of these writers. If you go through this whole list and still want more, I would definitely recommend looking up other stories by these writers. They're all excellent.

I may go back and add to this list later on, so you might want to check back here every now and then. I hope you enjoy these stories; I know I do. If you have anything to add--comments, questions, more recommendations of your own--feel free to leave a comment and do so. I'd love to hear your input. In fact, if you've read any of these stories, hit me up and we can DISCUSS like teenie super-nerds. :D

Happy reading!

<3 Lauren

P.S. To MY readers: I'm hoping to be back and posting regularly again on Mibba within the next few days. Maybe some of these stories can hold you over until then. :]
