My Life is Like a Box of Wizzo Chocolates

Well, today I found out how close my best friend and I really are.

So, our school came back to school after winter break on Monday, January 4th.
My best friend Nikki wasn't there, but I discarded it.
However, I started getting worried when she didn't show up for the next two days.

So, it was eventually Wednesday night and I started calling and texting her.
She never answered me.
So, I began to cry because I was so worried about her.

Thursday she was still a no-show.

One of my other friends told me that I shouldn't worry so much.
But I couldn't help but worry.
So, I even stooped so low as to call her boyfriend whom I loathe with every inch of my body.
There was no answer.

So I called her cousin.
No answer.

Today at school (Friday) the teachers started to look at me sympathetically.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out what had happened.
Nikki wasn't coming back to the school
So, I broke down crying during 7th period.

It wasn't until 9th period that one of the teachers, the choir teacher, told me what had happened.
She told me she had transferred to a different school.
Then she gave me a hug.
(Favorite teacher; I think so.)

So, when I got home I turned on my phone and found I had a missed call from her cousin.
I called her back and she told me that Nikki wasn't going to tell me for awhile.
What kind of best friend does that?

Note: The title is from a Monty Python sketch called "Wizzos Chocolates".
The chocolates were all...unappealing to say the least.
One of them was when you bit down on it a bolt shot through your cheek.
Another was a frog covered in chocolates.
