In my area

this past week has seen destruction in my suburb. There have been two accidents that have seen the death of 5 young men who had just finished school last year, they made a mistake, but that one mistake took their lives. One girl aged 15 was saved when on collision her brother leaned infront of her before impact which caused him to lose his life. She had serious injuries but was still fine to attend the funeral which was held on Friday, with over 100 people attending. Sadness turned to anger when the attendants lashed out at the media who had been saying that their lives were a waste etc. Personally I feel for their family and friends, it just shows that one silly drunken mistake can change everything.

Another thing that has happened is the hit and run which happened a few streets from mine. There was a party and the attendants where all out on the streets when a man accidently hit two 17 year olds, the guy came out of his car to check out on the girls when he was brutally attacked by a group of teenagers, the man got in his car, and went to the police. The girls didnt have serious injuries.
