He commented on my best friend's status, flirting and ending his sentence with a :). Big deal

I was online to witness everything.

I didn't get a "Hey, how's it going? How's your summer?" or a "Get out of that airport, and I'll pick you up :)".

I was just there. Like a lonely wallflower.

And I really thought we had something during those ten days we spent together on that damn trip.
