A Sequel To Titanic

Is this old news? I’m not sure but I am going to go ahead with this anyways.

What is something that you never thought people would be dumb enough to make a sequel of? I can name more than a few, but my main thing is this new Titanic. While watching the trailer I kept on saying to myself, ‘this can’t be true’. Sadly it is, they have indeed made a sequel which appears to mimic the plot of the first one basically, except I can’t really tell who Jack and Rose are supposed to be.

In all honesty I wasn’t too fond of the first one. I mean it was a good movie, but it wasn’t some amazingly awesome thing that I’d spend money to buy a ticket on. That and James Cameron isn’t exactly my favorite either, especially after his Pocahontas rip off known as Avatar, we’re all anxiously awaiting that sequel.

And it isn’t even Cameron who directed the movie, from what I have heard it is going straight to DVD. We all know what that means. But I guess I was more surprised and amused then even upset. There are just some things that need to be left alone, Titanic is one of them.
