North Carolina / Moving

I lived in Virginia since the day I was born, 17 years, even though we moved to quite a few different houses. Every house I lived in was within an hour from the house I was taken to the day I left the hospital as a baby.

Then, at the end of May 2010, my family & I moved to North Carolina. I left all of my friends, my extended family, and everything else, the only people and places and things that I had ever known. Right before my senior year.

I was so excited, so happy, so... everything. I cannot deny how upset I was to be leaving. But this was it, my big chance, my break. For the last 6 years, I wanted to leave Virginia, go somewhere new, meet new people, all that jazz. Despite leaving everything, I was definitely looking forward to the move.

And now all I want is to go home. I just wanna go back, so much.
