Do you think its annoying when people complain about how they don't have enough subscribers or comments in their stories?
Well I do. I know having comments and new subscribers give you that small lift of hope and inspiration, and it even makes your day a little brighter (or a lot, depends.) Seriously now, though, we don't need subscribers or comments. Really, creative writing is an art to express ourselves when needed. No ones opinion, whether a compliment or a criticism, doesn't matter, only your own. I mean, I love my stories even though I have a bunch of flaws and only at least 6-3 subscribers, and 6-0 comments. I can live with it, but why can't some people?
If you really do love writing, don't let people shove you down, even if there's no one to acknowledge you. If you want others to acknowledge you, then acknowledge yourself first. Don't be whining or complaining about how people don't comment and yet you have so many subscribers, you're lucky enough to have subscribers who appreciate your work!
