PRO-Life Solidarity.

Tomorrow, I have to write a Human Interest piece in Journalism.
It has to be about something/event/activity/etc. happening at our school,
and to be honest? Besides Jayquon Barnett, freshman, Getting arrested
for first degree murder this morning, we really have nothing else to write
about other than the new 7 hour schedule, 2 lunches instead of 3, and
passing period times. So I chose to ask my teacher, if I could write about
and event that has not yet happened at our high school, but will in fact be
happening October 19th. I chose to write about PRO-Life Solidarity.
Every year sometime in October, normally 17, 18, or 19th, this day is held
in honor of victims of abortion. The point of it is to give up your voices for
one day, for the children who will never have the choice. In order to show
your participation, students wear either a red wristband with LIFE written
across it, red duct tape across their mouth with LIFE written across it, or
even both. As much as I hate the thought of murder, whether you consider
the infant "alive" or not, I feel this topic needs to be addressed, and I am
excited to get the chance to write about it. :)

Thoughts, questions, Need advice, etc?
Comment this journal, or message me (:
