My seventy pound, ten year old yellow Lab is more afraid of a noise than my Yorkshire terrier is.
Go figure.
The Yorkie, Maggie, has been sleeping soundly and/or relaxing. My cairn, Rosie, (yes, I own three dogs,) has been sleeping the whole time.
But big old Sam has been shaking ever since the noise started. Now, I'm not heartless. I really do feel bad for her since, well, she's a scaredy cat. However I was able to calm her down a bit. I got her to go on my bed, covered her in a soft Beatles blanket and I currently have "One Love" by Bob Marley on repeat on my iTunes.
It's working.

We can never have anyone fix something in this house without her getting freaked out. Oh well. She's cute, so that makes up for it. :)
Do you have pets? If so, do they have irrational fears?
Edit: Also, does anyone have an idea for another relaxed song? . . She's waking up :/
