this was a comment that some guy left on mcr's page, and it couldn't be more true;

one more thing mcr is being acused of being an emo cult leader you want to know why? this may get you upset but it is true

its cuz of there fans
we teenagers have so much power its crazy and most of my chems fans are emo and emos are killing them selfs
this emo i have nothing wrong with it
but EMO needs to be stoped it is killing our bands

now im not sure about you people but i wear normal stuff and i dont have tight pants and tight shirt and i dont cut myself and i have short hair i dont cry over dumb things NOW THIS IS THE PART WE NEED TO LOOK AT

my opinion I just think we shouldn't even label ourselfs I knew this guy from a friend who was like I'm going through an emo/goth stage what about you,I was so pissed off and I said no I'm sorry I don't label my self and try to be put in a category. I mean it's just so stupid why would you put yourself in a category I'd rather be different loved or hated for the type of music or the way I dress. I mean it's one thing that people accuse mcr of most people's suicides,but they're not the one's controlling them it's those idiots who want to kill themselves! I mean come on I'm gonna kill myself because mcr makes me feel bad and depressed about myself and all the bad times;NO! MCR SAVES LIVES. THEY'VE HELP US THROUGH SO MUCH. AND PLUS THE MEDIA IS SAYING THIS MCR DOES SO MUCH FOR US,THEY'VE SAVED OR AT LEAST HELP EASE THE PAIN IN OUR LIFES,And I hope that most of you that do care for mcr, I mean they are pretty loved and because they've saved lives not destroy them.
