Mibba, I Need Your Guys' Help! Your Opinion Matters!

Hey.

I am Kyle Wells, formerly known as Zazoo on this site, and I have something really big that I have been fighting over in my head for the past year.

Since summer, no joke.

Anyways, I have been deciding whether or not to join the Air Force.

Here's the catch. I am gay, and this is a tough decision, because I feel more or less frightened of discrimination. That's the major biggie.

With DADT gone, I feel a little bit more comfortable, but I still have fears.

I want to join the Air Force to follow in my father's footsteps.

To make my family proud.

To protect my family.

To give them something to brag to people about.

To prove to them I am still a man.

To protect my friends.

To make more of a man out of myself.

It'd help to hear from anyone, but I think more helpful from a gay who is/used to be serving in any branch of the military.

But I still love everyone's opinion.

Should I, or Should I not?
