So I Got Into A Fight With Jesus.

Yes. That's right. Jesus.

Giggling yet? While the scenario is all quite amusing, I will have to stop to mention that no, it wasn't actually the all powerful mighty kahoona himself. No, it was just a friend of mine....nicknamed Jesus.

It's rather funny though, considering the boy is mexican and looks like the spitting image of Jesus himself (hence the nickname). But another thing that I find amusing is that his real name is Christian...................yep. And he's an Atheist.

Anyways. So I got into an argument with Jesus.

It was a big blowout about him and his new found addiction to boxing. I didn't really have a problem with it at first, until he started coming to school with bruises and such. I had asked him to stop and somehow that translated to "Oh, I don't think you can fight and I'm judging you for fighting." That's what he thought I was saying anyways. But it wasn't. I was just worried about his well being.

But after more bitter words, the smoke finally cleared and we ended up not talking for a while. Which was quite aggravating to me, but hey, I threw some mean words in there too. I am to blame for half of it. :/

What's my bigger dilemma, is what he told me this morning. He told me that he gave up boxing. When I asked why, he replied with "You asked me to stop, so I'm going to stop for you. I don't want you to worry, so I quit........for you." (he made it sound all sweet and sincere and stuff) I was dumbstruck but the poor fool was serious. I thanked him and felt like total crap afterwards.

Therefore I do have several questions:

1. Did I have any right to tell him to stop? (Even though I really was convinced that he wouldn't?)

2. If he stopped for me...then thats gotta mean something right?

3. Should I tell him to go ahead and do it and just remember to shut my mouth about it?
