So, my laptop charger exploded a few months back, and I just got a new one. When I finally got my computer working again, I couldn't connect to the internet. (If I could, I could only stay on for ten minutes, tops.) After about a month of bs, something pops up and tells me that LimeWire could be causing the problems. Of course I deleted it instantly. For the last week she's been working wonderfully!
Until tonight.
A random scanner popped up and started going through my files. I stopped it, but then I couldn't do ANYTHING. After a few minutes, an anti-virus site popped up, and long story short- Either I spend forty-seventy bucks buying their software, or I can't get online.
It's only on MY user file, though. I'm currently on 'guest' and the net's working fine. It's telling me my 'computer is at risk,' but I'm online...
So I guess my question is- Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, wtf do I do?! I NEED my user account, without it, I'm losing EVERYTHING! Which means- No more story updates as well.
I know it means I've more like than not got something on my account, and I've tried scanning with the anti-virus I already have. Know what it said the whole time the scan was taking place? ACCESS DENIED.
I'm at a loss here, people. Hopefully someone will take a look at it in the next week or so, but until them, someone save my laptop! D:
