"Are you a boy or a girl?"

This chick named Andrea Gibson is my new hero. Dear god, I watched so many of her videos last night that, by the end of an hour, I was thinking and reading everything in poetic rhythm.I was about ready to smack my head into my desk overandoverandoverandoverandover again until it stopped. Ferreal.

BUT. Listen to thisssss. Just listen once. You won't regret it:

I love her I love her I love her I love her I love her.

And this one over gay marriage:

And this one over....over.... Well, everything. It's fricking amazing. So inspirational and it cuts so deep and paints so many amazing images. Amazing. Just....amazing. I listened to it on repeat last night until I fell asleep.

"And there's a woman on the stairwell of the subway swearing
she can hear the Niagra Falls from her rooftop in Brooklyn.
And I'm remembering
how Niagra Falls is a city
overrun with vendors and traffic
and stripmalls and one
incredibly brave river that makes it all worth it."

She's right.

And this one over 'gender' and what that means:

She's my hero. My hero.

She has opinions on everything from politics to love to everything, and whether or not I agree with her, she explains herself so well with such fantastic points that I can understand where she's coming from. And that's what matters.
