What should I name the characters of a story I might write? I need character names and descriptions...

A few months before I joined Mibba I was planning on writing this story. The plot was after the world supposedly ended (2012) but there's only a few survivors.

[[Note: I do not believe 2012 will happen, but this idea was interesting so I had to write it XD]]

I also need characters names because I cannot think of what I should name them. There's 12 main characters. 6 boys, 6 girls.
I have an idea for 2 characters. 1 is the POV the story is about. I was going to use the name Alex but I used that for the main character in my other story Moving to Mars. The face is Logan Lerman. So I need a name for him. Then character number 2, is a girl. The face is Selena Gomez.
So I have 5 guys and 5 girls left.

Please comment ideas for names, who it is, and personality.
