Yesterday, August 20th, I saw Stealing Angels & Lady Antebellum live at the Crawford County Fair. Unless you're from western Pennsylvania or eastern Ohio, you've probably never heard of Crawford County, let alone the fair. Oh well, I'll get back on topic now. (: Stealing Angels opened the show and they were great. I wasn't expecting a whole lot from them because I had never heard of them before I got my tickets. They really surprised me! I'd love to see them live again! I've had a couple of their songs stuck in my head all day today. (: It's mostly just He Must Be Dead and Girls Gotcha Back. ? After they were done performing, I figured Lady A would be on in like ten minutes. Yeah, it was more like forty minutes, I'm guessing. I was getting super excited to see them because they're my favorite country artist. (: When they started, everyone in the racetrack seats decided to stand up. I didn't mind it, except I couldn't see becuase I'm short (5ft 1/2inch to be exact). So my mom switched my seats and I could see, even though I had to be on my tip toes for a lot of it. But oh well, it was definitely worth it. (: The first time they said they were done, I got kind of sad because they played all my favorite songs except Just A Kiss. Then just after my mom and I got our stuff gathered up to leave, they came back on and performed it. I was so happy. (:
Yesterday was also the day that Def Leppard came to Pittsburgh, PA. I was at Lady A's concert, so I couldn't go see them. ): I got on facebook when I got home, and there were a lot of posts about Lady A, but then there were like two people from my area who went to Def Leppard. I'm definitely jealous of them. So, since I couldn't go to see Def Leppard, my mom bought me tickets to see Skillet in Wheeling, West Virginia on October 20th! That's just sixty days from now, and I'm so excited! I'm also taking Ashlyn, one of my best friends. (: We're also making shirts at some point, and I'd like to get glow sticks to wear during the concert. (: Just maybe they'll point them out! Haha. I wish. But the thing that sucks about that concert is that all of the tickets are general admission. So if you want really good seats, you have to get there really early. I'm hoping we get there early enough to get decent seats. (:
So, I probably shouldn't even be on here right now. We go back to school on the 29th, and I still haven't finished my summer reading. I have to read a book and a half by then. I also have to do a report on both of those books. I already have 1/3 of my summer reading done. But I wish I had 3/3 of my summer reading done. That would be amazing! Oh well, I'll do whatever it takes to get it done before school starts.
Speaking of school starting, I'm really excited. I'm going to be a sophomore this year and I like my schedule, only because there's plenty of my friends in each class. (: Well, except painting. But I'm sure there's going to be a person or two who I know. If not, I'll get to make new friends. Haha.
Well, I should probably get going. I'll write again soon. ?
