A 5 year old got hit by a bus today by my school! D:

Yeah, it's so horribly, a 5 year old little boy got hit by a bus from my school after it pulled out and sped down the road! I feel so bad for the little boy D: he's still alive, thank goodness, and the school sent out a mass call saying he was badly injured, but at the moment his injury are not life threatening! :(

A 5-year-old boy went to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after a school bus struck him while he crossed a street.

The boy had non-life threatening injuries, said Michigan State Police Sgt. Sherry Curtis. On Wednesday night, the boy was at the (I took the name out) Medical Center undergoing tests.

The bus driver was placed on paid leave and will not drive until an investigation into the crash is completed, said schools Superintendent (took his name out). The state police are investigating.

The crash happened at about 3:14 p.m., according to a news release from the state police. The back of the bus struck the boy in the crosswalk, the release stated.
