I NEED help/advice!!!! (Ideas for pages in my art journal.)

I've been art journaling for a LONG time now, but I've mostly just glued/taped stuff in. I'm starting to paint/design my pages. I need some basic ideas!! Since Mibba is a writing community, I'm guessing a lot of you also journal. For those of you who do, you are exactly what I need right now! Give me some ideas about how to decorate my pages! Paint, stickers, paper, tape, glue, colored pencils, markers, crayons, buttons, ribbons, sewing, thumbprint animals, layers, anything like that! :) I'm really artistic, so that's not the problem. I'm just stumped on how to go about this. I've watched a lot of videos on youtube, so I'm starting to get the idea, I just need some tips. Comment, message me. :) Any idea/tip is appreciated!!!
