Car Accident.

My mum got hit by a car on Friday while she was on her bike. She is fine now but the thing that really made me angry was the fact that not only was it completely the guy's fault, but afterwards he tried to drive away. If it wasn't for other people who actually had their morals in tact, the guy would have gotten off free. It makes me sick. Even if it was an accident you check to see if the person is okay first.
I read a story yesterday in which a guy was killed in a hit and run and I started crying. The thought that if my mum hadn't been wearing a helmet then she could have easily died because she hit her head on the pavement pretty hard made me cry.
My Stepdad seems to be milking this on his benefit. He keeps saying things like 'oh, you'll have to do the housework, your mum can't do it.' When really, he usually does it. But to be honest, I don't really mind I just find it funny how he's managed to turn it around onto himself. I don't mind as long as my mum is okay.
