Everything Plants Series: III. Leaf Terminology

Don't worry, this will probably be the last "terminology" intense one for a bit. I know, it's boring to read it through, but it's important to have for reference. In the next journal I might do a "plant profile" type thing. If anyone has any requests for that feel free to mention it.

GARDEN UPDATE: Okay, so right now it's early morning for me. Eventually my goal for today is to (#1 do my homework) start preparing the new area I'm going to be planting veggies and herbs this year. Step one is to dig up all the crappy soil that's currently there. Since it's a relatively small area, I'll be doing that by hand. It will probably take a few week-ends worth of work to do, but I have to start sometime. After that will be the slightly more fun part of filling in the space with beautiful soil! My recipe will include something like peat moss, compost, vermiculite, and perhaps topsoil.

NOW ON TO THE LEAF STUFF!
