Antici...pation

I can't wait. Next week I'll be out of town to go to N.I.R.D Fest. That stands for the North Island Regional Drama Festival. It is a convention type thing where Drama clubs on Vancouver Island attend workshops, preform plays, and get adjudicated on their work in very aspect. Lighting, props, costumes and of course the acting. We are submitting Never Swim Alone for their inspection and from what I've seen it's pretty darn good. The guys that play the characters Frank and Bill are both trans and they said I can talk to them about my own gender identity, which is pretty awesome. I'll also be staying at a hotel for the first time with the other Drama kids (who I all adore) and generally have a good time. I am so excited! :D

So I wrote a poem for a friend of mine that moved for Valentines Day, and even hid her name in it. I posted it on deviantArt. She favortied it and commented it on it, wishing me a happy Valentines Day. :D I am so happy she saw it, I love her so much. The only way N.I.R.D Fest would be better is if she was there with me. <3 I really want to give her a hug and tell her that I love her, but I guess writing her a poem was enough. God, I'm gushing just thinking about her. <3
