"In a Relationship." (Opinions)

Okay, let's jump into this discussion, shall we?

I honestly do NOT understand the importance in "being in a relationship." And by that, I mean, I don't understand why you would have the urge to make something like that "offical."

You like/love this person, right? That person likes/loves you back, right? Now, what's the need to give that person a label to you?

Does it have something to do with significance to make them feel like they mean more to you than some other person that you talk regularly with? I think that question aimed more to jealousy... but whatever.

This is one of the reasons why I find people so interesting. We all act differently and are driven by different motives... So, enlighten me.
