New Story Idea (A Satire)

I don't quite know if it should be considered a fanfiction, simply because I want to use a certain aspect many are familiar with while viewing said genre.

Mary Sues and Gary Stues

Not to say all of them are bad, but I had this idea a while ago which would revolve around writing a short story here and there focusing on the most prominent traits a Mary Sue/Gary Stu might portray. But that isn't the best part. I then want to take that trait, and completely use it against the character for that chapter.

So... let's say the Mary Sue is far too perfect. Instead of attracting a guy, it actually detracts from her appeal...

It's still a rough idea, but I'd like to hear some opinions on it. I've been wanting to lean towards writing some form of satire for a while, and I think this would be a fantastic start.
