Feet glued to the floor ..

I'm a bit new to Mibba, but so far i really enjoy the positive literary atmosphere the who website portrays. Stories all over the site receive such complimentary feedback; writing is such a personal experience and when people encourage your fiction its almost an estacy. It's just dissapointing because no one seems to be paying much attention to my work, and i feel as though it might be because it's just not the right material for the love-sick audience that makes up the greater portion of Mibba's population. Don't get me wrong, there's something about love that I find intoxicating, how one feeling can drive person's mind to the very brink of all other emotions, and how it can cause such inexplicable effects on a body when compared to anger, jealously, ect. But as much as i enjoy romance, I really enjoy science fiction, not so much space ships and far away planets, but just twiddling with the chemistry in my characters, but not much other people here seem too interested. I really want to be an author, and i came to this site looking for feedback to help improve my work but so far it's been rather desolate. I don't mean to sound ungrateful or bitchy about it, I really think the things everyone says on each other's work is awesome .. i just need some of the love :( so if anyone really does enjoy a decent piece of sci-fi, if you'd take a peek at what i've written it would mean the world to me
