My Hamster, Lord Tywin, Is Placing His Cute Hamster Trust In Me

I just wanted to share my news that I made progress with my dwarf hamster, Lord Tywin. I got him on my birthday, December 23rd, and I've been trying to gain his trust since I brought him home. I let him smell my hands so he knows my scent. At first he used to push my hand away, then he began smelling my hand, then he started taking food I offered him. Recently, he's been licking my hand, but today I accomplished the ultimate: He climbed into my palm.
Lord Tywin, my little nocturnal baby, our friendship is growing stronger by the day.
I used to have a hamster when I was younger, but I didn't really know how to treat him and he used to bite me. Now that I know how and I'm more patient, Lord Tywin has never bitten me. I just talk to him quietly and say his name a lot.
I just felt like sharing this light-hearted news because hamsters are awesome little fellows, especially mine.
