I decided that seeing I was doing a project on the Bahamas, that I would also post my journal entries on here. I believe I have eight parts to this school trip! I hope you enjoy what I do over my vacation! I really did. It's not your typical Bahamas vacation with drinks complete with little umbrellas and tanning on the perfect beaches
Day One
Today we had to wake up at an ungodly hour to fly from Boston to Nassau and then we flew from Nassau to Rocksound and drove to the Island School. They’ve changes some things since the last time I was here and I am really enjoying the group we have here, it’s a good mix, and not awkward at all.
Anyway, today we saw a lot of Bahamians and it was a lot different from Americans. It’s a different and more friendly culture here and I really enjoy it. We had our small intro to sustainability today, but tomorrow have a tour of the campus and a good look at sustainability and aquaponics. It’s exciting to be back, but I have a lot of new things I’m excited to learn more about. And I’m sure we’ll get to know more about everything tomorrow.
