top 10 favourite books: #6 Season of Secrets (Sally Nicholls)

i was so exited about this book as it's written by one of my favourite authors, Sally Nicholls, who wrote the wonderful "ways to live forever".
It is a mixtire of fantasy, adventure and tragedy and is completely different from anything I've ever read before!
So basically a little girl called Molly is living with her sister and grandparents after her mum died and her dads trying to sort his life out. One night her sister, hannah and her decide to run away but it doesn't quite go to plan and Molly finds herself lost in the stormy night. Scared, she stumbles upon a man who is trying to escape a pack of vicious dogs.
She encounters him several times and each time he his running away. She tells hannah, but she doesn't believe her, and nor does her grandparents.
Again, this book is suitable to literally everyone, even babies! it's well written and slightly narnian, but more based on folklore and English tradition. 8/10
