This is the third (and final) of the track-listings I've made for my story Faded Polaroids,which I’m currently in the process of revamping. It's a Big Time Rush real-person-fiction.There are three main female characters, Kandi, Ryann, and the newest character, Berkeley, and the story alternates between their point-of-views. Berkeley is based a lot on my best friend growing up as far as the relationship between her and the other two main characters goes and in some of her personality traits and physical appearances. She's classically gorgeous, with white-blonde hair and deep blue eyes, and because of her beauty, she tends to get away with having a bit of a sour attitude. Another aspect of this character is her struggle with alcoholism. I feel like so many stories on this site glamorize the whole partying and constantly binge-drinking lifestyle without including any of the possible consequences. My older brother could very well be described as an alcoholic, as was his father before him, and I can wholeheartedly confess that I've never once seen my brother sober. It's more tragic than it is glamorous, and I wanted to explore that more through this character.
Berkeley's playlist is definitely a mixture, but most of the songs veer towards the rock genre. A lot of the songs included would be considered Berk's "guilty pleasure music." She's very much a rocker chick, but she isn't covered with tattoos or piercings. She dresses professionally, and I feel like it's very rare in online fic to have a character that loves rock/alternative music but doesn't physically look like the rocker girl stereotype.
