Need Writing Advice

The thing is I'm unsure of whether to post this story I'm writing on here, as I don't know whether I'll get any readers. My story is a fanfiction and I do love writing it for my own entertainment, but I'm still unaware as to whether I should post it or not. Also, im indecisive where rating is concerned too. I think it could be R, as there is violence but hardly any swearing throughout. I'm thinkimg of adding some swearing about a third of the way through as the part that would suit it is round about there. I want to post it partly, but I'm afraid that my hobby will turn into a chore if I obsess too much over getting it perfect for reading. I do enjoy writing A LOT but I want it to stay that way if that makes sense.
