Roleplay? Help?

Okay, so I've always been into roleplaying. Just, I did it strictly on other websites. They just seemed to fall through a lot.
So, I kind of want to try it out on here. I just have no clue how. I keep seeing the threads and I read them. It's just a lot of closed ones and such.
To me, it just seems fun and that a lot of people on here are into it. I just need some help to get it all together.
So, who wants to roleplay with me and try things out? Seriously, it would mean the WORLD to me.
