Best albums of 2013???

Haha wow, I'm still here. My joined dates says 2008. Whoa.

I think I might do a proper proper review article at the end of the year for my (personal) favourite albums from this year. I'm going to challenge myself to narrowing it down to 10 definite bests (because I can never choose, really). I've actually done blog posts on here about some top albums of each year before, and I have on my tumblr for about 4 years now as well and so on.

So I'm thinking of my favourites so far... And it's already hard to pick just ten. So far it's (in only a rough order right now):

Reflektor - Arcade Fire
AM - Arctic Monkeys
MBV - My Bloody Valentine
Bloodsports - Suede
Glow and Behold - Yuck
In Love - Peace
Modern Vampires of the City - Vampire Weekend
Wolf - Tyler, the Creator
More Light - Primal Scream
Where the Heaven are We - Swim Deep

;__; There's so many I want to include still. Like the Manic Street Preacher's album although it really didn't do it for me. I mean, it was good, but I could still find ten better albums than it.

Other things that didn't do it for me....

Fall Out Boy's comeback wasn't super impressive to me. Maybe it's because I ~only like old school FOB~ but it... sounds a lot like Patrick Stump's solo album? Which isn't a bad thing, and I think it was good for them, but I wasn't overly impressed.

David Bowie's new album was awful and I feel terrible for it, but The Stars are Out Tonight was the only good song. The rest was incredibly boring.

I never got into Daft Punk so I don't really care about RAM aha.

Deadmau5 did a good album (nothing beats 4x4=12 though) and there was a good EP from Datsik.

Uuuuummmmm Yeah Yeah Yeah's Mosquito was pretty decent, but a lot of the songs sounded the same, I felt.

Yeah that's about all I can think of right now.

So what did you like this year?
