My weird music taste and a genius invention.

OK HELLO.

So I have this recurring problem in my life, that amazing amazing bands that I love come on small tours to my area, and I get super excited, but then I can never find anyone to come with me. This is because I have the weirdest most eclectic music taste on the face of the Earth, and unless I'm giving away a free ticket to Beyonce, no one is willing to spend $30 to come see some weird Swedish new wave band with me.

CASE IN POINT. Mount Kimbie (ambient/trance/coolness) are coming out here from England after they released this amazing amazing album called Cold Spring Fault Less Youth but no one I know is even remotely interested. I don't want to go on my own because firstly, it's 18+ so it's at a licensed venue and I don't want to get hit on by drunk sleeze bags, and secondly because I will have no one to jam with! I missed Purity Ring earlier this year for the same reason and I am still pretty pissed about it :|

BUT

I have worked out a genius solution to this problem!

THERE SHOULD BE A DATING WEBSITE BUT NOT A DATING WEBSITE. By that I mean a website where you put in preferences for concerts you want to go to in the near future, and if there is someone else who is interested in going to two or more of the same concerts then it links you up and you can work out if they're a freak or not, and if not then you can go rock out with them!
HOW GENIUS IS THIS IDEA
you get to go to gigs with people AND you can make new friends who share the same awesome funky cool music taste!
