Alive!

For the first time in my life I feel alive! If I were to sum up what has happened to me in one phrase, I would say that my situation definitely relates to the quote, "sometimes what you have been looking for has been standing right in front of you the entire time." I'm not sure who said that, but it was so true in my case. For me that one thing is writing. From the beginning at the age of nine, I turned to it to express myself. Writing along with reading allowed me to cope with my parents' divorce, with my own personal relationships, and basically anything that I only wished to share with Microsoft word or pen and paper. Only I looked to writing as a hobby until Spring semester of my junior year of college when I realized that it meant so much more than that to me. Now as a senior in college, I have discovered blissful joy in the fascinating world of writing. Now I'm opened to any opportunity to conquer what I know is meant for me.
