Welcome to the fandom, Idiot

My bestfriend Riley is with her sisters and mother in New York City this weekend. The drive is ten hours long, and she had her phone fully charged with 3G. She was talking to her friend Liam, who is a huge fan of Green Day like I am. Apparently he asked her to listen to a couple of their songs.

And she did.

She calls me freaking out, telling me how much she fucking loves Green Day.

I don't know what to do. I mean, I have a passion for Green Day, and I've been trying to get Riley to listen for a while and she never has..

Well, I am excited. Really happy, actually. Finally! I've been trying to get a good friend or acquaintance that loves Green Day as much as me. Ive always imaged most of our 14-16 year old generation would listen to Green Day, hence the music style and the lyrics.

So I guess she is an idiot, now. "Idiots" are what Green day fans are called, in honor of their most famous album "American Idiot."
