Writing Time

Woooohhooooo it was a good day!

I wrote about 7,000 words so far on a novel. Crazy, right? Well, at least for me it is. I never write that much.

I think it's because I can actually relate to this story. It's more realistic; a girl is on a race against time to save her sister. I love that. It's more of raw emotion than a story about made up powers I could never have or a romance that won't ever happen. I'm putting in real emotion: The love of my own sister.

I'm also putting all the other things that have hit home for me as well such as:

Grief
Depression
Duties as a ( insert one of my many choices here)
morals

Plus, this story is SUPER violent. I love reading fight scenes. It's really fast paced though. Luckily, this is my first attempt. In fact, I haven't even read over what I've written to see if it makes sense at all. For all I know, it could be in complete gibberish.

That was mainly my day. It was the only nice one I've had in god knows how long.......Fingers crossed I actually finish this one. I really, really like the idea.

Hopefully I won't stand in my way on this one.
