This just about made my life:

Bob (my choir conductor): I've decided that Piedmont is a town where white kids drive around in brand new land rovers blasting to gansta rap.

LMAO. Spazz. Okay, I'm done. It was amazing and slightly sad because it's entirely too true. Piedmont is a very special town. XD People get into arguments about whose family is poorer and who shops at less expensive stores, while, at the same time, you have to wear designer jeans and own insanely expensive jewelry/electronics to be "popular."

So it all breaks down to the fact that you have be really rich but fake being really poor (??!) I don't understand the principle at all... oh and people wearing white pants and country club-esque sweaters from Lacoste are apparently "gangsta."
